Hello All! My name is Tootsie Roll and I am a 4 years old (although my foster mom says I am 4 going on 2!), 14 lb, spayed, female. My previous owners decided they are "no longer animal people" and surrendered me. Luckily, a volunteer from Pug Rescue of Florida was able to take me in and foster me until I find a great new home. I spent most of my time outside (in this Florida heat!) but I am now getting used to the good life - air conditioning, good food, a soft bed to sleep in, and daily walks. I am crate trained but I earned free range of the house after only two days because I would never think of having an accident inside and am totally house trained. I am friendly with everyone - kids (over 8 please, I tend to jump and my nails are sharp!), adults, and other dogs. I am curious about cats and will bark at them but I respond well to a verbal correction. I love to play with the dogs at my foster moms house, so I think I would do best with a friend in my new home. Also, please have plenty of squeaky and stuffed animals around for me to play with - I can entertain myself all day!
