Wally
Please help us find a home for Wally so he doesn't have to die. The people who originally rescued Wally
were going to put him down because they did not want to spend the time taking care of him anymore.
As I type this, he is sleeping on the floor beside me. Only difference with Wally is his back legs are
paralyzed. So, he has to wear diapers all the time and just like any baby in diapers, he takes ongoing
daily care to keep him from getting urine burns, rashes or infections.

Last year Tootsie was abandoned at a shelter, uncared for, without medication for her myriad illnesses, going through drug withdrawals, malnourished and left to die. She experienced constant seizures, and was no longer toilet trained, because her owner had shut her in a darkened room so long she didn't know what "outside" was. She was distraught and traumatized.
Tootsie is a delightful, funny little girl that runs manic circles around the kitchen island at dinnertime. She really has blossomed. She enjoys hanging out with her foster family, going for walks, and any kind of food she can get her hands on. She is toilet trained and has excellent toilet habits. She's still a little jumpy after years of mistreatment, but she likes to be rubbed and scratched. We don't think she'd be good around little kids, though. She's fine with other dogs and with grownups.
