Hello all! When I came into rescue someone named me Shadow but it really doesn't fit me or my personality, so my foster moms call me Mufasa because I am a little lion of a pug man with my big fluffy coat. Someone estimated my age as eight or nine, but because I am so laid back but I do not have many grey hairs so my pug rescue friends really don't think I am any older than six or seven. Regardless, no one really knows exactly how old I am but, everyone knows I am handsome and lovable. I do have some limitations. They think I am deaf and have limited eye sight, but not to worry; it doesn't keep me from loving on you or hold me back from living and loving life. I have been with children and other pets and get along great with them. I am also a food hound. I can smell a good piece of meat from a mile away. With limited eye sight, my nose works double time. In my past I have most likely been able to steal a piece of human food here and there but as all know, human food is no good for me and I should not be allowed to have any. That doesn't keep me from trying though. My adopter will be required to purchase 1 year worth of heartworm preventative either from rescue or from a licensed vet. Of course, any donation made by my adopter will be appreciated. Adoption fee waived, though rescue requests adopter to make a donation to rescue in Mufasa's name in the amount of $100.
