This 3yr old sweetheart came to rescue very sick and out of sorts. She was said to be aggressive with other dogs but we have not seen this what so ever. We think her issues prior to coming to rescue had to do with going from being an only pug to being in with a large number of other dogs. She is though doing fabulous with us and is a very well mannered girl.
Pug rescue has had Bailey Moon vetted and she was found to be fighting a serious infection and has liver issues. She has been started on antibiotics and liver enzymes. She is feeling better already. She has 30 days of liver enzymes left and then the vet will recheck her liver functions- we are very hopeful that we caught the liver issues early and that the liver will regenerate itself so that Bailey can live a very long and healthy life. If he liver functions have not improved then it is a simple fix- she will just require the liver enzymes- no biggie and not super expensive- just about $35 a month.
As shown in her photo, Bailey Moon is missing one eye. It was removed prior to coming into rescue. Her missing eye does not affect her at all.
Since coming into rescue she has made leaps and bounds- she knows a few commands like sit. She is 100% potty trained and crate trained. Walks great on a leash and rides fabulous in the car. She is very active now where when she first came to us she was lethargic. She just adores attention.
Please consider adopting her today- she has so much love to give and you will not be sorry you chose her.
