My name is Pugsley-L. I like to think the “L” stands for Lover!! I’m full of love that I have just been waiting and waiting to share with a human!

I came to rescue covered in urine and had urine burns over my belly and up to my hips. I was like this because obviously I was left lying in my own urine. Also turns out I have a urinary infection. My teeth are also rotting out of my mouth and the vet said I had hair and other debris wrapped around some of them… they’re horrible!

I’m 14 yrs old but when I see those treats come out…. It’s like I’m back in my days of youth! My whole face lights up and you really see my spirit shine. Everyone in rescue who has met me just loves me! The vice president has only seen my photo and she is in love already too!

My skin is feeling better now that I am not left in my urine anymore and I’m starting to smell better too- oh what a nice bath can do for the spirit! I have started antibiotics for my UTI and honestly- I’m on the mend. Now it’s time to find that perfect someone or family that is ready for all my love! The perfect family for me will be a little more laid back because I do have Atrophy in my back legs. No biggie though- I do get around on my own but I’m not the guy for long walks on the beach. I’m more of the guy who wants to snuggle a bit.

I was an owner surrender to rescue and I hate to remember my past….. When I came into rescue the vet did not hold out too much hope for me. So rescue had to decide my fate and lucky for me they saw that I was neglected and took a chance on me. Come to find out….
