Dear Business Owners,
“Pugsgiving” is the largest celebration in Florida of pug rescue, pugs and the families that love them.
This event is an excellent marketing opportunity for your business to reach the hundreds of pug/dog
lovers that will travel across the state of Florida to attend.
The 8th Annual Pugsgiving will be November 13, 2010 at the Maitland Civic Center in Maitland,
Florida. To view the wonderful facility we have rented for this event, please visit the Maitland Civic Center website.
The center’s capacity is 1,000 people, but we also plan to have some vendors set up outside. This one-day event is scheduled from 10 AM until 3 PM and will include a fantastic day of pug and family oriented activities, raffles and a silent auction.
There are many ways to participate and get your business name and/or products to our participants:
- Become a sponsor (Application: Word / PDF)
- Become a vendor (Application: Word / PDF)
- Donate items for our silent auction or raffle
- Donate supplies needed for the event, such as printing services,
food, drinks, paper products, etcetera.
We will make arrangements to pick up donated items at your convenience.
Pug Rescue of Florida, Inc. (PROoF) and Orlando Pug Rescue of Florida (OPRA) are
501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that have joined together and are dedicated to
finding loving, permanent homes for pugs and pug mixes throughout Florida.
We operate through an organized network of volunteers and sustain ourselves through
fund-raising efforts and the generous financial support of both individuals and
businesses like yours. In 2009, PROoF and OPRA rescued 245 pugs and incurred over
$68,000 in medical expenses.
