Olive, is very very sweet 8½-year-old girl. She seems to be very calm and relaxed.
She gets very excited when you pet her, rub her belly, or give her any attention.
She's very affectionate -- loves to give kisses -- and is a big fan of afternoon
naps. She loves carrots, pineapple, and apples, but hates peanut butter.
She behaves well in the car and on the leash.
A great bed companion, as she gives you some space.
She's been missing her left eye since infancy, and has KCS in her right,
requiring daily eyedrops, but she manages to get around just fine. Her
hearing is very poor also, and she has a few fatty cysts.
She gets along well with the other dogs -- she has snipped at
both of my dogs when they got too close, but I chalk that up to
the anxiety of being moved to a new environment. We don't have
children but my best friend brought her 4-month-old baby over
and she was very friendly towards her. Someone said she
may do better with women, but seems to be pretty loving and
friendly with my husband, and sits up on the recliner with him.
