My name is Kelsey. My story is pretty sad but I’m an optimistic “the glass is always half full” kind of gal so I’ll be just fine as soon as my chosen one finds me, adopts me and takes me home. About a year and a half go I was adopted by a wonderful lady that loved and cared for me. We were a great pair and we loved each other dearly but then she got deathly ill and had to return me to the Rescue. I hope she will be alright but I don’t think she will. A couple of weeks ago, my pug rescue friends decided to have my teeth cleaned and took me to their vet to have my pre-dental blood work done. That is when they found I am diabetic. Like I said, nothing really bothers me so I wasn’t acting sick but I have to say I do feel better and am playing more now that I am on insulin. I don’t mind my shots at all, so don’t worry about that. I’ll help you; I’m a very good girl. I like the other dogs here but can do fine in any home really that will just love me and that doesn’t mind the small inconvenience of having to give me insulin injections 2 times a day. Piece of cake really! I love to go with you wherever you go. I’m very good in the car, love leash walks and naps with my human. I ignore my foster mom’s cat. As you can see by my photo, I am part pug and part something else but I am all sweet. If you love me and want to adopt me, please send your application today. I have all the faith in the world that my love match is out there looking for me and will find me soon.
